Granted, Drupal gives you LOTS of power right-out-of the box. However, to really leverage the power of ‘The Drupe’, you really need to dig deep into the modules area. It is obvious that you can accomplish pretty much anything, any layout, any content view or type, if you just look  hard enough. Themeing was interesting, and in particular trying to theme around Garland with it’s colorized versions.
