This site serves two purposes: to showcase my creative and web development skills and to communicate a little bit of my personality as I share my personal thoughts, creations and images. Presently, I serve as the webmaster at a Higher Ed institution in Delaware. I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) web professional with over 9 years of proven success in corporate and non-profit web design, development and content management.

I am passionate about universal web accessibility and have technical expertise in building accessible, standards-compliant XHTML/CSS websites. Although I am not a programmer, I have an solid understanding of JavaScript, SSI, CGI, ActionScript for Flash and FTP. Additionally, I am extremely hungry for bits and bytes of knowledge: presently, I’m wrapping my head around Drupal and bits-n-snippets of PHP. Finally, I am currently managing the University site running on Sitecore CMS (built on a .NET platform).

My experience as a web development professional includes proven leadership capabilities in project management including conception-to-deployment of 2,000+ page Law School website and over 30 departmental blogs. My background includes migration to table-less CSS markup, implementation of WCAG/508 compliance standards, RFP writing, personnel management, coordination with writers, photographers, faculty, students and consultants.
